- When a score is entered, You Score Horses automatically places the entry into the correct position (based upon score) in the jog order
list which is displayed on the main scoring screen. Automatically managing the jog order is more efficient and is more reliable than
manually keeping an ordered list on paper, especially for large classes.
- In a large class a judge may want to check the distribution
of scores for previous scored entries before entering a score for the latest entry. The entries in the sorted jog order list are color
coded into the score-ranges (70s, 80s, etc.) so the judge can easily see the score distribution before assigning a new score.
- In case
of several entries with close scores, a judge may want to check the scoring information for another entry before assigning a score.
By clicking on an entry in the jog order the program displays all of the scoring information for the clicked entry so that the judge
has more information before assigning a score.
- A judge can indicate that the entry was disqualified or id "below the cut" by simply
checking a box.
- When there is a jog, You Score Horses automatically displays the jog order on a new screen with the descriptive comments
to assist the judge in evaluating the jog results. The judge can quickly change the order of the entries by “dragging and dropping”
entries into a new position. When the judge is finished with the jog, You Score Horses displays the new order as the Final Placing’s
on the score card. The judge no longer has to manage this on paper during a jog to indicate the new order.
You Score Horses automates the scoring process so judges have more time to observe and evaluate horses and their riders.
