When You Score Horses is started the first time it displays the "Create a new event?" dialog.

 

Touch the "Load Sample Data" button on the "Create a new event event?" dialog to create a sample event, sample courses and sample classes.

 

Notice that as a result an event name, location, and name are displayed on the top of the main application screen. If you want to customize this information select the "Event" tab and touch the "Change Event Info" button and enter the information you want to change.

 

You can also examine the sample courses and classes by selecting the "Courses" and "Classes" tabs. You can change, delete, or add any of this information by touching the corresponding buttons on the screens.

 

When you select the "Score" tab, an "Open Score Card" dialog is displayed. Touch "OK" to open the class displayed or you can select a class that you want to open from the drop down list and then touch "OK" to open the class score card.

 

You can touch and hold the "Add Entry" button and you will be asked if you want to add sample entries. Touch "Yes" and 20 sample entries will be entered into the class.
