Courses Setup
Select the
Courses tab to manage the courses. A course reflects the layout of a ring such as the number of jumps, the direction the
rider approaches each jump, etc. Once the course designer gives the course information to the judge, the judge can set up
the courses for judging.
To add a course touch the "
Add Course" button and enter the name of the course and the number of fences.
Touch "Create Course" when finished. Your newly added course is displayed in the list of courses.
Existing course information
can be changed or deleted by touching the Edit or Delete button.
Optionally you can add course symbols for each fence in a course
by touching a fence symbol and using the
drawing pad to enter a course symbol. The course symbols are used to document information
about the fence which
You Score Horses displays when scoring to help provide fence information without having to refer back to the
course design documentation while scoring.
Here is a
list of courses with filled in course symbols. The course symbol used in
these examples are described
here. Note that there is no standard set of course symbols - many judges prefer to draw their own
customized symbols.
You Score Horses automates the scoring process so judges have more time to observe and evaluate horses and their riders.
