Horse Show Deployments FAQs

What can be provided to make it easier to deploy You Score Horses?

ð  Provide a power connection at the judging station to lessen the dependency on tablet batteries.

ð Provide WIFI at the judging stations so that judges can use the Internet to send Jog Order/Standby lists to the In-gate and Announcer and also to send score cards to the show office.

ð  The show office can print a sample generated score card before a show – just to make sure that a printer is available and working.

What if the show does not provide WIFI?

ð There are several options if the judge wants to send Jog Order/Standby lists and score cards electronically and WIFI is not available at the judging station.

ð  The first option is for the judge to use a tablet with built in internet provider access;

ð The second option is to create a hotspot with a phone or portable internet device which provides internet connectivity for the tablet running You Score Horses. Most smart phones and network providers provide a hot spot feature and/or portable mobile internet devices.

Can You Score be used outside of the United States?

ð  Yes - however English is the only language supported at this time. You Score Horses will not work on a tablet device whose language is not set to English.

ð  Localization support for other languages (French, Spanish, etc.) can be included in future releases, as needed.
